What StackCut is
StackCut, a product of Upshift LLC, is a web-based calculator that estimates potential savings from replacing SaaS tools with AI alternatives. It is an informational tool, not financial advice, not a marketplace, and not a recommendation engine.
The estimates it produces are based on published benchmarks and reasonable assumptions. They are starting points for your own analysis, not guarantees of outcomes.
Your data
Your expense data is processed entirely in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or access it. The only information we retain is the email address you use at checkout and a record of your purchase. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Buying and accessing your report
Previewing your savings estimate is free. To unlock the full report you pay a one-time fee. Access is tied to the email address you use at checkout: enter that address and we send a single-use link to your report. We may revoke access in cases of payment fraud or a chargeback.
Payment and refunds
The full report is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The StackCut Savings Report is $49, and the Finance edition (the report plus an editable model) is $149. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly, and we never see or store them.
If the report does not meet your needs, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. We also refund any purchase where a technical failure prevented you from accessing your report.
Accuracy of estimates
StackCut uses published benchmarks from sources like BLS, Gartner, and Intercom to generate savings estimates. These are approximations, not audited figures. Actual savings depend on your specific vendors, contracts, team structure, and implementation approach.
We are not liable for business decisions made based on these estimates. Use them as one input among many in your decision-making process.
Intellectual property
The savings reports you generate using StackCut are yours. The tool itself, including the software, design, content, methodology, and brand, belongs to Upshift LLC.
Limitation of liability
StackCut is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackCut and Upshift LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from your use of StackCut will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of StackCut after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
